This is my species, Leoni Caballio. They are part lion, part pony. Unicorns are less common, Pegasi are uncommon and Earth are very common. THERE ARE NO ALICORN LEONI'S. They are ONLY NATURAL LION COLOURS, NO NEONS, NO BLACKS. Males have large, proper lion manes, where-as the females have short, usually scruffy pony manes, that are the same colour as the end of their tail. In VERY, VERY rare occasions, they will be white. They may carry the white gene, and you can know this by the fact they may have a white patch on their hoof. They DO NOT get cutie marks. They get a fur mark, on their forehead between their eyes. This is usually a colour, a bit lighter than their fur. If their fur is pretty light already, it will be darker than their fur. They get this when they find their talent. They have large canines, the males are larger. They grow in when they start to eat meat. They have the diet of a lion, mixed with a pony and will sometimes hunt ponies. (Usually foals.) They also eat greens. (They are omnivorous.) Their stomachs are very good at digesting things that normal ponies would struggle to digest. The unicorns cannot use magic unless they are a tribe leader. They live in tribes, dotted around forests and jungles, also savannah-like places. The females have a marking at the side of their eyes, kind of like Egyptian make-up. They usually hide away from ponies, but can earn the trust of a pony. If you want a custom, put roar in codeword. For males, their manes are not there from birth. They grow in as they start to reach puberty, though they will have a small tuft of hair on their heads. For males, the bigger and darker the mane, the stronger they are. They cannot roar from birth. They have to learn and pick it up along the way. Tribe leaders have 2 dots, the same colour as their mark, either side of their eyes. There are, VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY rare Leoni's with liger markings. Any accessories must be a simple earing or two, a stud or with a feather of some sort. Necklaces usually consist of stone or wooden beads, and a little charm like a larger stone or a feather near the middle. The eyes are only colours you can get in a feline. (Light blue, green, yellow, brown.) Elders may get grey/silver streaks in their ageing manes.
